Happy Thanksgiving!

The Dorchester County Historical Society would like to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and take a moment to share what we are grateful for this year.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our officers, members, and staff for all their hard work! We are very appreciative of your help.

We would also like to thank our volunteers for donating their time and energy to support us. Every helping hand means a great deal to us.

We are extremely grateful for all our visitors, from those who have found us unexpectedly to the students and teachers who made time to see us. You are the reason we work continuously to preserve our local history. We are glad we have had the opportunity to share our knowledge, artifacts, and stories with you in person again.

Most of all, we are thankful for another year of operation. Having the time and ability to gather together and carry on with our projects here at DCHS is something we have learned to not take for granted. It makes us so happy to move forward towards another exciting year!
