About the event
The Transpeninsular line story intrigued Mr. Hemcher after hearing a talk
at the Brick Church on Taylors Island in 2014 the day of the Battle of the Ice
Mound Bicentennial. And then with the development of the James Island
project he became interested again due to the fact that the terminus (end) of
the Transpeninsular Line ended on Taylors Island at what was in the 1700's
